The UK has the largest advertising market in Europe, being worth some £20 billion. Most of the revenue media companies make is a result of the sale of advertising space; from small Classified advertisements at the back of magazines and newspapers, via huge billboards on roadsides, to multimillion pound TV advertising campaigns.
